WHO WE ARE
Friends of Southgate Community Center, Inc. is a fully accredited 501c3 non profit organization dedicated to serving the users and supporting the staff of the Southgate Community Center (SGCC) by financially assisting the Southgate Advisory Council's mission to support programming at the Center and increase the community's awareness of and engagement with SGCC.
We, Friends of Southgate Community Center are committed to diversity, equity & inclusion, and we are fortunate to be able to do so within the community we absolutely love. Yet, without embedded systemic racial and social justice, that commitment can only go so far, and so wide. Thus, in this statement of commitment and action, we at Friends, are devoted to our neighbors and community, the staff of Southgate as well as our County partners in upholding the dignity and self-worth of all people regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, disability, age, sexual orientation or gender identity and expression. We love what we do here at Friends, and we hope the work we do entrusts you to our dedication to you and your loved ones.
