This FREE Zumba Fitness Class is a Latin- inspired dance-fitness program that blends international music and dance moves that enhances fitness.

Through our Community Development, we have the potential to make a real and positive change in the community. This is one of our key areas of focus here at South Gate Community Center, and a source of much success for our Nonprofit Organization. PICKLEBALL

Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
10:00 - 2:00 p.m.


Pickle Ball net and paddles provided. If you're a beginner or a rising star come out and meet new friends or hang out with your friends at our Free court. ALL LEVELS WELCOME! *Donations Accepted* for Friends of Southgate, Inc., non-profit 501C3 (Money collected goes to supplemental programming and supplies for community center). 

CAPITAL MOBILE FOOD BANK

Second Saturday of the month
10:00 - 12:00 p.m.

Southgate Community Center will be the next location for the Mobile Market program, this food bank is able to deliver fresh produce monthly to high-needs neighborhoods throughout the DC metropolitan area. 88 Mobile Market locations are currently operating in partnership with community organizations. Southgate is proud to have this resource here in your community. These Mobile Marketplaces are operated monthly in a farmer’s market style that distributes produce. They target high density areas with high rates of food insecurity, spotlight community service providers, and feature cooking demonstrations. Help us spread the word to those in need!

PRO-BONO LEGAL CLINIC

Third Tuesday of the month starting in September.  
6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Free legal advice for area residents concerning some civil, immigration and consumer issues. Criminal cases, traffic and employment issues CANNOT be discussed. Please call Cornerstones at 571-323-1431 with questions or to register. 

OPEN COMPUTER LAB FOR ADULTS (19+) & SENIORS (50+)

Monday - Friday
12:00 - 1:00 p.m.

We offer open lab for participants to use the computers to access the internet, email and print.
